African Black Wood Vessel
Made from African Black Wood is 6"x7" has a natural edge. This wood comes from Africa. Note the color of the sap wood and the heart wood these are the natural colors.
Made from Splated Black Birch Burl is 11"x6" has a natural edge. This wood comes from Kodiak Alaska. Note Spalting is the first stage of rotting wood if stopped in time makes gorgeous colored lines in the wood usually black lines.
Made from Black Birch Burl Bowl is 10"x4". This wood comes from Kodiak Alaska. Note the bark inclusion in the front of the bowl and the spalting in the back of the bowl.
Made from Ebony and Chakte-kok is 10"x4". These woods are from Africa and Mexico. Note the Ebony bowl was turned first and then the Chakte-kok ring was inlaid in to the Ebony.
Made from Red Mellee Burl is 12"x2" has a natural edge. This wood comes from Australia. Note the striking grain of the wood comes from the burl of the wood.
