Commissioned for the Saint Paul Lutheran Church the cross stands 3 feet tall. The cross is made of Peruvian Walnut. The challis is made of Maple Burl and the host is made of Hollywood. The grapes are made of Purple Heart and hang on copper stems and copper leaves. The wheat leaves are made of Vera wood and the shafts of the wheat are made of brass and carved Lace wood heads. The dove is carved of Black Birch and then bleached and the eye is inlaid Ebony. The shell is carved of Maple Burl and the water droplets are blue acrylic turned and polished on the lathe.
